(A).활짝 민들레     4 C

       8 C

민들레 꽃은 약을 뿌리지 않은 곳에서만 채취 해야 한다.

보통 잔디 위나 약을 뿌린 곳에서 꽃을 채취해서 사용하면

화학 약품도 같이 섭취 수도 있어 위험 있으니

주의 .


(B) 민들레 삶은     4 C

   레몬 주스         2 T.S.

   1 pack Powder      Pectin (Sure-Jell. 1.75 oz)

 

(C)  설탕      5 ½ C

 

 

1. 민들레 부분만 딴다.

   얼음 물에 담가 빨리 씻어 건져 물기를 뺀다.

 

2.  물   8 C  끓이고  4 C 민들레 꽃을 3 동안 끓인다.

 

3. 건져 식힌 채에 걸러 국물만 사용 한다.

   민들레는 눌러 물기를 준다.

 

4. 3 C 민들레 삶은 물에 2T.S. 레몬 주스와 1 pack Powder

   Pectin (Sure-Jell. 1.75 oz) 같이 넣고 섞은 중불에서

   같이 끓인다.

 

5. 여기에 설탕을 넣고 같이 끓여 준다.

 

6. 소독한 병에 넣고 냉장고에 넣고 써도 된다. ( 오래 보관 수는 없다)

   또는 피클링을 해서 보관 한다.






피클링 하는 방법:

1.병은 깨끗이 씻은  뜨거운 물에 튀겨  든지 dish washer

    넣고 닦는다.

 

2. 아주 커다란 냄비에 물을 가득 붓고 물을 끓인다.

 

3. 뚜껑은 조그만 냄비에 따로 넣고 물을 붓고 끓인다.

 

4. 끓인 잼은  뚜껑에서 ½ -  인치 정도는 남기고 병에 담는다.

   병의   부분은 깨끗 하게 닦아 준다.

 

5. 잼을 병에 담자 마자 소독한 뚜껑을 닫고커다란 냄비의

   뜨거운 물에 담가  15분간 튀겨 내어 뚜껑을 Seal 한다.


 끓이는 시간 (Bath Time):

½ Pint jar : 10

Pint jar : 15-20

Quart jar: 30


6. 병은 건져 내어  만지지 않고 그대로 놓아 두면 Seal 하는

   소리가  하는 소리를 내기 시작 하며  뚜껑이 납작하게

   들어 간다그건 완전히 Seal 완전히 되었다는 소리다.

 

   이것은 실온에서   이상을 놓아 두어도 상하지 않는다.

You should pick dandelion blossoms only in an area

that has never been sprayed with fertilizer or any other

chemical spray.

 

Chemicals can be harmful and dangerous.

Be careful what you pick.

(B) 4 C   dandelion water

   2 T.S.   lemon juice

   1 pack Powder      Pectin (Sure-Jell 1.75 oz)

 

(C)  5 ½ C    sugar

 

 

1. Pick bright, dandelion blossoms.

   Snip off the stems.

   Wash dandelion blossoms in ice water and quickly drain it.

 

2. Boil 8 C of water and put dandelion petals in the boiling

   water and cook for 3 minutes, then strain it by pressing

   the petals with your fingers.

 

3. In a pot, put 3 C of dandelion juice and 2 T.S. of lemon

   juice.

   Add 1  pack  of Pectin (Sure-Jell. 1.75 oz), stir well, then

   bring to a boil at medium heat.

 

4. Add 5½ C of sugar and stir to mix well.

   Continue stirring and boiling for 3 minutes.

 

5. Pour the hot mixtures into a sterilized pickling jar leaving

   ½ inch from top.

   Wipe out the top of the jar with a paper towel.

 

6. Pick one jar cover from the boiling water, cover the jar

   right away and tighten it gently.

 

7. Put this jar into boiling water in the largest pot right away

   and boil it for 15 minutes.

 

8. Pick it up and place it at safe place and let it cool and

    seal completely.

 

 

How to Do Pickling:

1.Wash the pickling jars thoroughly and boil them in hot

   water or use a dish washer.

 

2. Fill a very large pot with water and bring to a boil.

 

3. Put water in a small pot and bring to a boil, put in the lids

   and  boil them.

 

4.Pour the boiled jam into the pickling jar, leave about ½ -⅓  inch

    from the top and wipe around jar with paper towel.

 

5. As soon as the jam is poured into a jar, close the sterilized lid 

   and gently tighten the jar cover.

 

   Put the jar into boiling hot water and boil it for 15 minutes.

 

   Bath Time:

   ½ Pint jar : 10 minutes

   Pint jar : 15-20 minutes

   Quart jar: 30 minutes

 

6. When you take out the jar from boiling water, place it in

   a safe place and leave it without touching it until it is sealed.

 

   It will start to make a popping sound, and lid will flatten.

   This means that the lid has been sealed completely.

 

    It will not spoil if kept at room temperature for more than one year.
