Classic Chili

(American Cuisine) 양식


(A).ground beef    2 lb.

   vegetable oil    1 T.S.

 

(B) 1½    onion – chopped small

   2 T.S..    minced garlic

 

(C) 3 T.S.     chili powder

 

(D) 1    green pepper - chopped

   1   red bell pepper - chopped

   ¼ C    fresh tomato- chopped

   1 can (16 oz)   diced  tomato

   1can(6 oz)   tomato paste

   2 can(16 oz x 2)    chili beans

   1 can (16 oz)   kidney bean

   1 t.s.    garlic powder

   1 t.s.    cumin

   1 t.s.    cayenne powder

   1 T.S.    red pepper powder

   1 t.s.    crushed red pepper

   1 T.S.    brown sugar  

   1½ C    beef stock

   salt

   pepper

 

(E) for garnish:

   1 C    shredded cheddar cheese

   1C    sour cream

   ¼ C    diced green onion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.In  a large pot put in oil and ground beef and stir-fry

   until brown.

 

2. Drain the fat and pour the beef back into the same pot.

 

3. Add chopped onion and cook until tender.

 

4. Add chili powder and stir well.

 

5. Add ingredients (D) and stir well.

 

6. Stir well and cook 1 hour at medium heat.

 

7. Serve with cheddar cheese, sour cream, chopped green onion.
